Could 1D + Demi Lovato Collaboration Happen?
Will there soon be a One Direction, Demi Lovato collaboration now that Demi is joining Simon Cowell on X Factor: U.S.? If you know anything about Simon, you’ll know you should expect anything and everything.
Cowell is among the savviest businessmen in the entertainment industry and he has a strong sense of what will and won’t make money. When it comes to One Direction, now is the time to take advantage of their fame.
Most musicians have a shelf life about as long as Kim Kardashian’s marriage so it’s important to get as much out of their time in the limelight as possible. Cowell probably knows better than most how quickly fame can fade. Having 1D collaborate with Lovato would not only extend the band’s fame but it would also bolster the singer’s own career.
During a recent interview, Demi Lovato revealed she wants to collaborate with One Direction. Big surprise, right? Who wouldn’t want to hitch their busted wagon with one wheel to 1D’s tricked-out Rolls Royce? Thankfully and with money signs in his eyes, Cowell will probably make Lovato’s dream come true.

Although all the talk about the boys’ shelflife seems a bit like filler (and uncalled for), this doesn’t seem too far fetched! Demi is joining the Simon Cowell family as a judge on The X-Factor US, so it doesn’t seem out of the question to expect a collaboration between Demi and the boys, even if it’s just for The X-Factor or something.

1D Would Love to Do a Movie
For every Hard Day’s Night there’s a Spice World.
But that hasn’t put off One Direction from following in the footsteps of The Beatles and Spice Girls by dreaming of becoming stars of the big screen.
Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne are keen to cash in on their huge global following by featuring in their very own film.
Harry said: “Movies are something we would consider. But it would have to be what we want.”
Sadly for film bosses dreaming of a cheesy rags-to-riches tale, the lads are instead keen on recreating a classic Shakespearean love story.
Harry added: “We would love to do Romeo And Juliet, as depicted by One Direction, and we should play the parts — Niall would be Juliet!”
Niall seems up for it, too.
He said: “I don’t really mind playing Juliet, if I’m honest. I’d do whatever is good for the group.
“I’m there. We are all there for each other.”
Now that’s called taking one for the team.

1D Concert Movie in the Works!
The One Direction guys are super busy these days—having just kicked off their tour, you’d think that would be their sole focus.
Instead, big 1D news: first up, One Direction is hosting a global DVD viewing party for their Up All Night concert DVD.
One Direction took to Twitter to tell fans about the Up All Night — The Live Tour DVD watch party, writing: “It’s an OFFICIAL #1DVDWatchParty for the 1D family on Thursday May 31st, 5.30pm London time!!”
You don’t want to miss it, as their management tweeted: “Make sure you join us here on Thursday for a live commentary and pics from the boys as they watch the DVD live! 1DHQ x”
They added, “Simply press play on your DVD at 5.30pm on Thursday and watch/tweet along with us! BEST. PARTY. EVER!! #1DVDWatchParty 1DHQ x”
Liam tweeted as well, writing: “Guys we will be watching our Tour DVD together for the first time on Thursday! Are you gonna watch with us? #1DVDWatchParty”
But there’s more big One Direction news… 1D also has a 3D concert movie coming out in 2013!
Yes, One Direction will join the likes of Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, and Katy Perry, releasing their own live concert film.
It’s never too early to put it on your calendar — look for the One Direction concert film on November 8, 2013.

Wow! This is great news! I personally would love to see a concert movie from the boys, and based on the prospective release date in November, it looks like the movie will feature the 2013 tour with their new album material! Can’t wait!
